Shanna returned home from the Philippines Cebu East Mission on December 15, 2016. We tracked her flights online for 2 days. She flew from Cebu to Manila, to Hong Kong, to Los Angeles & then to SLC. We were so excited to see her again. Grandma & Grandpa J., Jacob, James & Christian rode with me in the suburban to the airport. Richard didn't get off work on time to get to the airport. He met us at home. Elena drove straight from BYUI in Rexburg. Elena's roommate Bri came with her. Michelle drove straight from UVU in Orem. The LeBarons came to help us welcome her and video her arrival. Christian's friend AJ came to photograph. I felt so much relief and peace to hug her and have her on American soil again. It felt so long that she was gone. She is such an amazing woman, daughter and missionary. We are so thankful and honored that she served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We are so thankful for her safe return home.
