Presidents Cup Tournament

Grandma J came to visit me and together we went to visit Aunt Kaye Lynn and then we visited Charlotte and Shanna.  It was a great day.  We enjoyed it very much.

Charlotte having lunch at our house on another day.

Jacob and I went to Mesquite for his soccer tournament.  It was good to spend time with Jacob.  Dad stayed home with James because they had work and school.

They put this picture on the Utah youth soccer Instagram page.  I was happy to get a good picture.  It is really hard for me to get good pics of Jacob because he plays in the middle of the field.

Jacob's 17th Birthday

Charlotte, Christian and Shanna came over for dinner and we had homemade pizzas for dinner.  Dad had a lot of meetings today and then I had baptism preview and priesthood and temple preview this evening.

Jacob asked for this sweatshirt from Tilly's for his birthday! He was pretty happy with it.

Grandma and Grandpa Jacobs came over on Tuesday to help us celebrate Jacobs birthday!
Jacob's favorite gift was cold hard cash! He was so excited, I wish I could have been videowing him opening up the cash gift.
Shanna and Christian and Charlotte came over to celebrate Jacob's Birthday too.
Jacob even let me take a picture with him and Charlotte for his birthday.
Charlotte hanging out with me and playing with her toys.  I just love to see her explore.
Charlotte is practicing the law of gravity.  How does each food item sound as I splat it on the floor?  Her proud smile and her folding her hands cracks me up in this picture.
I got a cute pic of Charlotte and Shanna when I picked up charlotte one day.

It was a pretty busy week this week.  I was in charge of ribbon week at HHS and I watched Charlotte a few days and a handful of other things going on: Jacobs birthday, baptism and temple previews.  There was also a missionary baptism of 2 children in our ward 9 & 11! They are sweet kids.  Dad was in charge of the baptism with the missionaries and I and the primary presidency helped with the primary part of it.  I helped Dad make some nice programs and I lead the music.

Happy New Year 2019

Sudweeks sent me this pic of James and Tyson collecting fast offerings.  I am thankful that james comes to church and passes the sacrament and collects fast offerings.  He is a good little boy.
James raced Friday night and is really enjoying it.  before this he hasn't been doing any sports for the last several months.  You know how he really loves all sports.  He started playing jr jazz basketball and racing bmx and I think he is feeling better.  He just needed a change of pace.  He has both jr jazz practice and game and bmx races every other weekend.  He got 2nd place both Friday and Saturday night at BMX. Dad had a hockey game Friday night and then he was able to race Saturday night.  Dad and james got new bmx outfits that match for Christmas.  Dad really wanted blue but james really wanted red and Dad finally just ordered the color james wanted.
New Years eve, we had Shanna, Christian, Charlotte, Jenna and her boyfriend Jacob and Barb & Ben Kluger, Andy & Amy Norris.  All of our usual friends were unavailable for new years eve this year.  We had dinner, did karaoke, played games.  We had a lot of fun.  I do feel bad because Charlotte had a hard time going to sleep while everyone was here until 12:30 or so.  They slept over.  New Years Day, James taught me how to play his game on the xbox.
I had to take a pic of james morning hair

Ummm… somebody has been busy helping you rearrange and clean your room.  Shanna and I were working on some things downstairs and Charlotte was helping!
We put her in her little baby seat for a bit too! She liked it for a little while.

Jacob chose lasagna for his family birthday dinner.  We were supposed to have Grandma and grandpa J over but grandpa didn't feel well and it was pretty stormy and snowy today so it was just the 4 of us.  Jacobs birthday is on Tuesday.  They will probably all come over on Tuesday sometime.  I cant believe Jacob will be 17!

Dad and I hanging out watching a movie and working on our missionary emails.  This week and especially today I have been so weepy.  My testimony has been strengthened so much during sacrament meeting and as we carried out our first primary of the year with the new come follow me program and the new church block format the spirit was so strong today at church.  There was just such a strong spirit all through church today.  I know I just said that twice in a different way.  I am so thankful I have a testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and that I belong to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  I know that these changes are inspired and that our Living prophet President Nelson is called of God and that he can receive revelation for us at this time.  The world is a scary place but I have such great peace because of My Savior and the knowledge I have of the Atonement.  I cant imagine trying to do all that we are doing without the help of a wonderful loving Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ.  James and Dad and I have been studying the Come Follow me curriculum during this past week.  It has been good. I am looking forward to the growth this year.
