Disneyland

We went to Disneyland in February when the kids were off track from school. Most of the trip was great. We had great weather and the best time at Disneyland. We also visited with some Stanley cousins while we were there. Then the weather got bad. We did 2 days in the rain and mud for the National BMX races in Perris, CA. It could have been better. We were all cold and wet. My wallet was stolen while we were there and that made it worse because we had to cancel our cards and borrow cash from the kids to get some food. We made it just fine though. We made it to Scott's house and stayed there and they fed us and then we made our way home.

Why did we choose Family Circus?

The girls helped me choose our blog name. They love to read the Sunday Funnies and that is an all time favorite. I had another reason for choosing that name. That is because I think that it would be hilarious if someone made a cartoon about our family. There are alot of really funny situations that happen here. I also feel like I am leading a 3 ring circus.

I just wanted to get this started by writing something. I am always quite behind the times by choice. I like to wait back and see how long things last and see if I really want to jump on board.

Our family is growing fast. Shanna is 12. Elena is 10. Michelle is 10. Jacob is 7. James is 2. Life is busy. The girls are all getting started on the spring soccer season. Excitement is in the air. Jacob decided to take a break from soccer this season and try flag football. We will have to see how that goes. James loves any sport and I'm sure will do very well. He can handle a soccer ball, football and ride a bike at the ripe old age of 2.
