Happy Thanksgiving

Dad and I bought new light fixtures for the front room (dining room) and the room that used to be the dining room.  They are really nice and light.
We are back at BMX.  It feels like the exact same thing but my baby is a big kid.  James did his first races Friday night.  He was so excited and nervous.  Even though older siblings have raced, we have been away from BMX for about 6 years and there were no siblings to give him tips and pointers.  Dad was there but he came straight from work.  I got James all registered and checked in and he got to do the practice time.  Saturday morning James also got to do a clinic for beginners with Sophia Foresta as the instructor.  She is pro now.   Do you girls remember her? She is your age and I know at least Michelle raced against her.  James absolutely loved the clinic.
James hanging out with me and Charlotte after she woke up from her nap.  James was trying to pose just like her.

 Charlotte loves her mommy.
Charlotte gets scared when loud noises happen.  Some pans fell out of the cupboard when I was getting something out and she started crying.  I gave her the pans and some spoons to make some percussion, she just looked at me with this serious look.
Dad also loves playing with Charlotte.
I made chocolate dipped raspberries.

We hosted thanksgiving dinner for my family tonight.  I made rolls, Banoffee pie (pictured above), pumpkin pie, apple pies, and for the first time I made home made stuffing.  We had a fabulous time and I enjoyed having everyone over.

Happy Halloween

Charlotte is so funny and silly.
Charlotte and Shanna & Christian came over to show off costumes so we could get some cute pictures.

James costume is Marshmellow man.  I guess he is a famous DJ. I am not sure.

Buddy even got a costume. Dad put some Minnie mouse ears and a bandana.

I love my time with Charlotte.
Buddy is chewing on everything.

Charlotte likes playing with the gate.  Buddy and Charlotte were playing together each on their own side of the gate today.  It was pretty funny.

Yesterday I started making applesauce with the apples from the tree in our yard.  I love being able to do this.
